TPE Interview: The Road Less Traveled
This online interview with Ken Horn, Managing Editor of Today’s Pentecostal Evangel (The AoG national magazine) deals with my book, Off-Road Disciplines, and includes a link to a supplementary audio interview.

Off-Road Disciplines Flash Media
Leadership Network is making a flash media presentation available to promote Off-Road Disciplines. It includes my voice, Len Sweet’s voice, and lots of outdoor photography.
Hermetically Sealed
Last Thursday I arrived home after work to find that the very first hard cover copy of Off-Road Disciplines had arrived at my house. Up to this point I had only seen a PDF version of the text and a paperback edition (“uncorrected and not for resale,” the cover warns) known in the biz as a “galley” (named after the Roman slave galleys that bore newly published books from the provinces to the Emperor for his reading pleasure). Of course, I immediately sealed the new volume hermetically in a handy zip lock bag to preserve it from the wear and tear of showing the thing to everyone I can find. No one “sends” an idea unless: a. they understand…

The subject: books as a consumer product. Glen reports an interview with one of my favorites, Seth Godin http://sethgodin.typepad.com/:————————————“Seth Godin (marketing guru) was recently interviewed by Guy Kawasaki and the first question seemed apropos since both of you have already shared so much of your content in public venues: 1. Question: I am not worthy: How did you get your publisher to give you a contract for a book of stuff that you had already written and published? Answer: Books are the new t-shirts. We used to buy t-shirts as a way of covering our hard abs. Now, though, the purpose of…
