    Earl,

I think your on to something here. It has crossed my mind as well. I see a teaching/sermon supporting idea in practically every movie. It is the way my mind works. I just got a few powerful ideas from scenes in the Wizard of Oz…of all places. bd

Interesting thought on a conspiracy, to be sure. If valid, could it be an indication that the movie industry actually does understand the inspired communication of God as given in His Word, which we know as the Bible? If this is true, isn’t it even a fundamentallly larger and much deeper conspiracy by the proverbial “church” to “water down” the inspired communication of God as given in His Word, which we know as the Bible? Pastor David Liebherr said it well on a different page. Pastor Harry Peterson and Jeff Boldt also posted healthy comments on related issues. I guess there is a God after-all.

In Off-Road Disciplines, Earl Creps reveals that the on-road practices of prayer and Bible reading should be bolstered by the other kinds of encounters with God that occur unexpectedly—complete with the bumps and bruises that happen when you go “off-road.”
